MUSIC: The Mansfield Downtown Partnership has resumed their FREE concert series on Wednesday evenings at the Town Square at Storrs Center.
Performances start at 6:30 and in the event of rain are moved indoors at the UConn Co-op Store at Storrs Center. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. The series starts tomorrow night, June 3rd with the Gideon Ampeire Quartet.

July 1- The Funky Dawgz Brass Band
There is plenty of free parking (in the garage the first 2 hours are free) and plenty of room since the students are on summer break. Enjoy a meal, a drink, some frozen yogurt and more!
And soon you will be able to return or pick up library books at the Mansfield Library Express at Storrs Center at the Nash Zimmer Transportation Center. This limited service location of the Mansfield Public Library is available for users to return books or pick up reserved books while at Storrs Center.
MUDDERS: Horace Porter School PTO in Columbia is hosting its 2nd annual Mini Mudder Sunday, June 14th at 1 pm at the Horace Porter School. The event features 18 obstacles for kids in grade K-8 including the mud crawl, spider web, mountain of tires, the hay mountain and the Tarzan rope swing. Jeanne Crum, a Columbia resident and Realtor with Home Selling Team has signed on to sponsor one of the obstacles in the course. Look for her name at the haystack or the Tarzan Rope Swing. This fun event stresses the importance of physical fitness and community participation. Go Horace Porter PTO!
MORE ART: Opening reception on June 17th 6-8 pm for the exhibit of paintings by Linda Croxson & Philip Ward, “Nor the Shadows Cast by Chickens” The Kerri Art Studio & Gallery at 861 Main Street in Willimantic. The exhibit runs June 19 through August 1st.
