Winter Welcome at Storrs Center Saturday, December 13^th 1-5.  Parking for free for 2 hours in the garage and $1.00 per hour after that or 2 hours free at Dog Lane Lot.  There will be carolers and musicians strolling and performing outside and indoors and a visit from Santa aboard the Mountain Dairy truck about 2 pm at the UConn Co-op Bookstore in Storrs Center.  Schedule of events.  

Most merchants will be offering special discounts, free cookies, hot chocolate and other treats and surprises.  The forecast looks good so why not come out to Storrs Center and enjoy the season.

Brueggers Bagels and Jamba Juice are open.  I stopped by last weekend for a bagel and it was very busy but also well-staffed by pleasant and hardworking students.  Don’t be discouraged if you see a line, it moves pretty quickly.
